CASA
Your home away from home.
Concept
Not everyone has room to store an RV or trailer.
I wanted to design a tent that could be stored outside the vehicle on a trailer hitch-- which can be installed on most consumer cars, including small ones.
Smaller cars would have more room to pack other camping supplies.

Areas of Improvement
Having a comfortable sleeping setup while camping addresses other issues, such as:

Gear - takes up a lot of space
-
Not everone has a large vehicle
-
No room to sleep in
-
Constant rearranging + moving around

Tent setup - time consuming
-
Lots of smaller parts, easily lost
-
Tricky for one person to do solo
-
Other tools needed (mallet, tarp)

Sleeping on the ground - uncomfortable
-
Sleeping pads - close to ground
-
Takes time to inflate
-
Confined to narrow / small area
Exploration - GravitySketch
Does it inflate? Fold? Pop up?

Configuration
Folding tents: no complicated stakes or rings.

Sleep Tight
Structural support + elevated surface = less discomfort on ground
